2. side Hustles Offer A SAFETY NET

With Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck, what happens to their lives when disaster hits?  Spend a moment wearing those shoes and ask, “What would I do if I lost my job today?” It’s a daunting question!  How would you keep your lights on, put gas in your car, or purchase food? 

The answer, simply don’t keep all of your “eggs” in one “basket.”  Creating multiple streams of income helps protect you (and your family) from that possible disastrous day.  These income streams creates a type of financial “safety net” when your main source of income disappears beneath you.  

I’m not suggesting that you have to work all of the time, but I do believe there is wisdom in taking the time, while you have it, to build a small side hustle.  In certain seasons, it may be your only source of income.
